Be Strong In Your Faith, You Will Need It

Eternal Life!

"Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night within his temple; and he who sits upon the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Revelation 7:15-17 RSV

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 KJV

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
1 John 5:11-13 NASB

Thanks be unto God for His wonderful gift: Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God is the object of our faith; the only faith that saves is faith in Him.

I FIND IT INTERESTING THAT THERE ARE MANY WARS WHERE SO MANY PEOPLE ARE KILLED IN THE NAME OF A LOVNG GOD THAT WANTS US ALL TO BE ONE FAMILY...KILLING IN THE NAME OF ANYTHING, IS NOT THE DEFINITION OF THE GOD I BELIEVE IN...THE OLD TESTIMENT WAS ALL ABOUT SETTING UP THE JEWISH PEOPLE AS GODS CHOSEN...THE NEW TESTIMENT WAS ABOUT JESUS COMMING TO FULFILL THE COVENANT FOR ALL PEOPLE...THROUGH JESUS WE ARE FREED FROM THE NEED TO KILL ANYONE IN THE NAME OF PEACE...AS JESUS FORGIVES AND LOVES US AS WE ARE, SO ARE WE TO FORGIVE AND LOVE EACH OTHER IN OUR DIFFERENCES...GOD IS IN CONTROL...WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT HIS WILL IS THE ONLY RESULT...DAVE..

Courage & Confidence

Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:24 KJV

He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31 NKJV

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm 27:13,14

Return to your rest, O my soul, For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. For You have rescued my soul from death, My eyes from tears, My feet from stumbling. I shall walk before the LORD In the land of the living. Psalm 116:7-9 NASB

GO WITH CONFIDENCE AND SURETY...

Bible Verses for Tuesday December 2, 2008

Confidence in Him

May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes. May my heart be blameless toward your decrees, that I may not be put to shame. My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word. Psalm 119:79-81 NIV

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:11 KJV

For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day. 2 Timothy 1:12 NASB

He will keep you strong right up to the end, and he will keep you free from all blame on the great day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will surely do this for you, for he always does just what he says, and he is the one who invited you into this wonderful friendship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:8,9 NLT

HOW WONDERFUL IT IS TO KNOW THERE IS SOMEONE WHO LOVES US ALWAYS, NO MATTER WHAT... WHAT A GLORIOUS THING TO WAKE UP AND KNOW WE ARE NOT ALONE IN OUR JOURNEY...OUR SALVATION IS SECURE AND OUR FORGIVENESS COMPLETE...PRAIS THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS FOREVER...DAVE...TBOD...

Meditation 11/30-12/6: Our Redeemer - Ex. 6:6-8 NIV

Concerning Cash...
But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today. If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 8:18-20 NIV
He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. Proverbs 28:19,20 KJV
As for the rich in this world, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on uncertain riches but on God who richly furnishes us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good deeds, liberal and generous, thus laying up for themselves a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of the life which is life indeed. 1 Timothy 6:17-19 RSV
"Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. "But you ask, 'How do we rob you?' "In tithes and offerings. "You are under a curse-the whole nation of you-because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." Malachi 3:8-10 NIV
Thanks be unto God for His wonderful gift: Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God is the object of our faith; the only faith that saves is faith in Him.
